the man's left leg had withered into a state where it looked like a dried branch. it was clear that the man had not been able to fully resolve the withering dao energy within it. instead of letting it fester, and spread the huiqing emperor had let it be sealed within the leg, before purging the energy.

while he won't be able to heal his leg, he would be able to get a replacement made later.
