Chapter 309 309: Changing Race (Part-2)
"You are weak."
He said, his tone was neither degrading them nor trying to belittle them. It was…flat.
"Rahu, speak clearly. What's the matter?"
Amidst the discussions and conversations, Yveline's voice tore through the group. Her ink-black eyes shone as she looked at him.
"Of course you'd notice, my love," Rahu chuckled.
"Fifty years later, the army of a god will breach the barriers of the mortal realm. But that's not what I'm worried about." He paused, letting the words sink in.
"Then what is it that you are worried about?"
"It's…time. Fifty years…is a bit less to conquer the entire mortal plane, spread my faith, and transform them into the dimensions."
This was what worried him, though there were a few other concerns. The first and foremost was the…curse.
Yes, the one he had gotten from those beings in that mysterious realm. Till now, he didn't even know what the curse was.
He…had, of course, checked his entire body. But to his dismay, he hadn't found any irregularities. The only thing he was confident about was that…the thing wouldn't affect his soul.
He would become a laughing stock in the underworld if he let anything happen to his soul. Well, even if someone wanted to…they couldn't even come close to hurting his soul. Since the curse wasn't immediate, he dismissed it. After all, since it wasn't immediate, it wasn't worth giving it more time than necessary.
The second was…Rahu. From the moment he had learned about this guy, he had been alert; that entity was not normal.
But for now, he didn't know anything aside from the fact that he had the ability of rebirth.
And lastly, the beings coming from the Celestial Expanse? He didn't even consider them.
They might as well be handled by his wives and subordinates. His words shocked the present women. Miranthu looked at Rahu more closely.
"Rahu, are you planning to cultivate a massive army?"
Hearing this, Rahu smiled. "Yes, after all, I can't just go to the Celestial Expanse empty-handed."
Hearing this, the women chuckled. He…hadn't changed one bit.
"Alright, are you guys ready?"
He asked, his voice echoing through their being.
"Let me go first, master."
Azaria stepped forward. "It is my duty to pave the way for your wives," she added. Hearing this, Rahu smiled.
"As you wish."
Lucy couldn't help but stare at Azaria's back. "No wonder he favours that woman."
She muttered inwardly. Azaria had just come out of a coma, and in the next moment, she volunteered to be the first.
What is loyalty and devotion? This is…
Rahu stood up from his throne, stepping forward. He grabbed Azaria's neck. His smile widened slightly when he saw that there was no hesitation in her eyes.
With a wave of his hand, a vast stream of death and dimensional energy left his hand and entered Azaria. It seeped into her body through her pores, holes, and eyes.
Azaria's body shook for a moment, and her veins popped all over her body. Her hands trembled as the bones in her body shifted.
Rahu still held her in his arms. From his fingertips, the energy continued to leak and fill her. The rest of the women stood back, watching the transformation unfold, their eyes wide open.
Although they had seen similar things in the hall earlier, that phenomenon wasn't nearly half as dangerous as this one!
It seems Rahu was once again trying something different, and they were curious. The transformation continued; Azaria's entire body twisted and shifted, and blood leaked from her pores. The red blood that is…her mortal blood.
This continued for an entire hour…before Azaria snapped her eyes open! An enormous shockwave spread…reaching tens of thousands of miles…shaking everything in its path.
"W-Wow, is that really…Azaria!?"
Vivianne couldn't help but ask; her tone was incredulous. It wasn't just her; this time, even Yveline was shocked by the transformation.
Tap Tap Tap.
With each step she took…the ground beneath her feet cracked, sending intense shockwaves throughout the area.
"Mhm, my love, you have indeed exceeded my expectations. And you look hot."
Rahu spoke, although he didn't let anything show on his face. Inwardly, even he was a bit surprised.
He had used…close to 70 percent purity of both death and dimensional energy. For context, an Innate Domain Realm cultivator would have his life energy sucked dry even if he was exposed to 10 percent of the Death Energy. Not to mention the dimensions; it was far more complex to blend it in with a non-affinity user.
But…the hardest part was already done by Rahu. That is…mixing the two energies and balancing them.
Once mixed, they were no longer death and dimensional energies. They were entirely different once blended, granting the user unimaginable powers. And no, it wasn't similar to Rahu's, because all the dimensional abilities he had were the ones he had received from his physique.
This is exactly what makes this special…it was an entirely new bloodline and a brand new race!
"Mas…ter."
Looking at Azaria, he couldn't help but notice that she had grown taller…a lot. From 165 cm…to all the way up to 202 cm!
A momentous leap, her head almost touched his shoulders. But…this wasn't what made it terrifying. It was her appearance!
Standing at 202 cm, Azaria had deep black and blinding white hair. They were blended into one, giving her an otherworldly, unseen appearance.
The previous four slaves were…nothing in front of Azaria.
Her golden eyes were long gone…what replaced them were…pitch-black sclera with glowing white irises.
There were no pupils…just a pair of glowing, blank irises. Her skin had changed, going from smooth, milky skin to pale white. It was almost as if she were dead.
Azaria looked around quietly, but her eyes noticed everything that she hadn't before. Not a single detail escaped her eyes. But suddenly she became curious. She shifted as she looked at Rahu…but that proved to be a fatal mistake. As soon as she looked at him…
"T-This, w-what!!?" She stuttered a few steps back and…
Thud!
She fell on her butt, and drops of blood dripped down from her eyes, staining her entire chest.
