Chapter 131: Towards Elarith [PS Bonus]

Chapter 131: Towards Elarith [PS Bonus]

Chapter 131: Chapter 131: Towards Elarith [PS Bonus]Noel had arrived at the Western Port of Estermont.

Here lay the sea that separated the two continents. The distance between them wasn’t too large—by ship, the crossing could be made in about five days.

His ship would depart in exactly fifteen minutes.

Noel turned to the carriage driver who had brought him.

"Please let them know I arrived safely."

The driver nodded once, then turned and left, guiding the carriage back through the bustling streets.

Noel faced forward again.

The Port of Estermont was just as he had imagined it from the novel—majestic, vast, a place where the wealth and power of the Estermont family was on full display.

Tall stone piers extended out over the deep blue water. Countless ships were docked—some designed for transporting people, others for moving goods, others built for luxury.

Passengers of all races passed through the gates—humans, elves, dwarves, and more. Merchants, travelers, nobles. And, of course, some ships were part of the Estermont trading fleet, among the most famous in the world.

Noel’s gaze swept across the harbor.

And then he saw it—his ship.

He stopped for a moment, blinking.

’It’s huge. Holy shit. It looks like a building—tall and long. Is this what a cruise ship looked like back on Earth?’

The vessel was massive—nothing like a simple sailing ship. It had no sails at all.

Instead, the ship ran on a special engine, powered by mana.

Magical engineering at its finest—capable of long journeys without the need for wind. The structure towered above the others, with several levels of decks stacked high.

Noel shook his head in amazement and made his way toward the boarding line.

The line was long.

Passengers waited patiently, each holding a ticket ready in hand.

Noel watched them calmly.

’I’ve got mine in my dimensional pouch,’ he thought with confidence.

The line moved slowly. One by one, passengers handed over their tickets and were allowed through.

Finally—Noel’s turn.

A uniformed worker at the gangplank looked at him.

"Ticket, please."

Noel gave a casual nod. "Yes—one second..."

He reached into his dimensional pouch,

Marcus.

Sitting with Laziel, Garron, and Clara.

Noel stiffened slightly but kept walking, pretending not to notice them.

He took his seat, hoping they hadn’t spotted him.

Soon the waiter appeared again.

"What would you like to order?"

"Bring me the best cut of meat you have."

"And to drink?"

"The best wine you serve as well."

"Very well. I’ll return shortly."

Noel leaned back in his chair, exhaling softly.

’If I can live a luxurious life now, I might as well enjoy it. Hehehe.’

His gaze drifted out the nearby window as he sank into thought.

’Alright... the final stage to close out Act III seems like it hasn’t changed—at least for now. I could’ve stayed one more day in Estermont and spent it with Elyra... but I wanted to be sure about this. I can’t join their group for now, but after the wedding, I’ll probably have to meet up with them.’

He crossed his arms casually.

’I’m headed to Lestaria for the wedding. They’re going south, to the small holy kingdom below. I imagine the Saint, Charlotte, must have met Marcus already. I bet they agreed to head to the Holy Capital together.’

He sighed faintly.

’Enough thinking for now. Nothing good ever comes from overthinking—Roberto was right about that, when I think too many bad things always happen.’

A moment later, the waiter returned—placing a perfectly cooked steak before him, along with a glass of rich red wine.

Noel smiled to himself.

’For now... I’ll just enjoy this.’
