Letting him escape freely aligns more with the reality of the situation,” Ying Yuezi remarked, her brow furrowed. “However, this will significantly increase the difficulty of our arrest operation.”
“Exactly. If he’s globe-trotting with the ability to disguise his appearance, how are we supposed to catch him? If he decides to hide out in some remote village, he’ll be virtually untraceable,” Wu Yaoming added, his expression mirroring Ying’s concern. “This gives Wang Yun a tremendous advantage.”
“That’s the harsh truth. Our initial restrictions to arrest him were much more to our advantage. Given that the TV show staff said that there are program inspectors in other cities, our first step should be to cut off access to disguise materials in those areas. Since such materials are seldom used, they should be fairly straightforward to restrict,” Wu Mingyu chimed in, massaging his temples. “Our main issue now is that we’re still in the dark about Wang Yun’s last identity. It would be much easier if we could uncover it.”
“This is a problem, and another headache is that Wang Yun might have already left Nancheng or is about to. With a real ID in hand, he could easily board a plane to some distant location,” noted a middle-aged man from the side.

“We have a solution,” interjected Captain Dragon Hand, catching everyone’s attention.

Wang Yun nodded, patiently awaiting their arrival. Intent on orchestrating his own imprisonment in a real jail, he knew he had to simulate a grave crime. However, actual violence was out of the question, so he arranged for the TV crew’s staff to put on a convincing performance.
“Brother Wang, they’re here, the three ahead of you, equipped with blood bags to ensure a believable enactment,” announced the executive producer after three minutes.
Wang Yun nodded, and with a flick of his wrist, a scalpel appeared in his hand.
His eyes locked onto the three staff members. Moving swiftly toward them, as he approached, he launched into a sudden assault.
“Ah, die!” he roared loudly, attacking the three young men and women directly.
The three staff members were also well-prepared. Seeing Wang Yun attacking with terrifying speed, they couldn’t even react in time. One staff member was hit by Wang Yun, who immediately crushed the blood bag on his body.
“Ah, help!” he screamed in terror and despair.
Their performance was flawless.
