Chapter 309: The 7 Halls Of Sky Palace

The following days, the sky festival raged on with activities all over the city, from games to plays and localized tournaments....the festival was an activity of a life time.

They were known as the white and purple witches, which was gotten from their mischievous ways of winning bouts.

"Hm?" Turning to see Embers gaze fixed on him, Ni’an smiled and quickly turned his head away to look outside a luxurious carriage they were seated on.

Leon’s betting escapade throughout the city had gotten them riches far beyond anything he could think of. That was saying a lot as he himself was a special status transcendent being.

It was true that they said about the rich, "the affluent don’t chase Pennies as they know how to make fortunes" even though Leon didn’t get rich through business, he knew how to grow wealth.

"Hmp!! That’s their business" Ni’an sneered grumpily. Even his fellow disciples had fallen into Leon’s money grabbing schemes. This was not a good look on monks like them. Plus, they didn’t even throw him a single penny.

The climax of the Sky festival would be holding on this day. Even the sky city lord Dorgonodo would make space in his schedule to be there and had promised a rare treasure to the overall winner.

"The hall of shadows extends its arm to you" the guard said simply before stepping back and bowing heavily.

The top 30 were right priority targets for the different halls, but not every hall would send invitations out to every participants.

For example, this Hall of shadows was the arm of sky palace incharge of expionage and were responsible for the gradual expansion of sky palaces influence into not only the undergod territory but also far beyond.

They would only go for people adapted at infiltration and were capable of blending into the shadows very easily. Dispite embers hot personality, she was a good fit for this kind of work and they could see it from a mile away.

"Ahhh thank you very much, it is an honor" Ember saw this and bowed, however her eyes were filled with a gloating air that quickly Dialed down when she noticed Arian smirking.

This was the third invitation she had gotten to enter sky palace. This would on a normal day be seen as a thing of pride, as in all of sky palace there was sort of a tradition of not fighting for recruits.

It was seen as a disgrace for them to be so desperate that they would have disagreements on talents.

The hall of Blades, The hall of War, the hall of magic, the hall of shadows and even the hall of knowledge.

That was 5 halls, more than 70% of sky palace wanted Arian to join them without exception.

It was a bit disheartening to see such a difference, especially with the hall of knowledge. This was a specialized hall, what did they want from Arian ?
