In the dead of night, the first batch of blood serpent clan members exited trafalgar forest and came face to face with the supreme leader.
2 hours later another batch came out, then another, then another, until the 6th batch of bloodserpent clansmen.
They were originally 10 batches with memebers ranging from 10-4. But now they had only 6? They had lost 4 batches. This was a massive lose to the ranks of the clan.
But for some reason, there was a big fat smile on the face of the supreme leader as he stared into the forest.
"Move!!!"
Soon loud sounds accompanied by whipping resounded from inside trafalgar forest.
"They are here" the supreme leader smiled as he watched several lines of warlocks exist trafalgar forest while being whipped.
These weren’t warlocks from the bloodserpent clan or bloodcity. They were bone serpent clansmen.
The supreme leaders reputation as a kind man was born from the way he spoke to people, but his actions has gained him a completely different reputation.
He knew the bone serpent clan would eventually get word of this little competition outside the clan so he made sure to distort the info a little bit and sneak in some of his own students into the competition.
These guys weren’t there to gather any herb. There were there solely to capture bone serpent clansmen.
"Master!!" Stepping forward and using placing one knee to the ground. A man with white eyes and white facial hair came forward.
"You did well Logan," the supreme leader smirked.
Just as the bloodserpent clans blood was highly sort after, the bone Serpent clans bone Marrow was equally as valuable, but for a completely different reason.
These prisoners would not only serve as a monetary advantage, it would also serve as a political one..
"Thank you master" the man with white facial hair bowed along side several others.
"Hehe, looks like I’m the only one without prisoners"
Beside Leon, po commented with a shamed look on his face. Not alot of people knew this, but he too had been accepted by the supreme leader as a personal disciple, so him not coming with any prisoners was sort of embarrassing.
"Sorry first elder" Leon bowed to the side.
Soon mumbles began to echo in each group. Some expressed displeasure and some understanding, but all wanted the chance to become an outer deciple.
But only the truly talented would stand a chance at getting this opportunity. Even the greedy bloodserpent clansmen knew this fact.
"In terms of future, I belive its between Leon and Queen.,"
Surprisingly, in the enforcement units group, victoria completely removed herself from the fray.
She was in her 50s albeit looking young and although people could live for far longer periods in this world she couldn’t pretend that she was still young.
After all, there were two incredibly talented individuals here that would definitely surpass her in the near future whether she liked it or not.
"Makes sense, but who amongst them" Yankai commented.
Victoria was clearly behing Leon and Qing would definitely back his little brother, and with Avon incapacitated, he would have to be the dividing line.
"It should be Leon"
Before he could speak though, he heard an unexpected opinion.
It was Qing.
"Don’t worry about Queen, his path is not the same as us and wouldn’t benefit that much from being with the supreme leader" Qing said.
This was a brazen and arrogant statement that in the right setting would get Qing in big trouble. But he said it anyway. He was the only one who knew his little brother well enough to determine where his will laid.
And if he said Queen wasn’t suited to be with the supreme leader then no one could really argue with him.
"Well then, it’s settled" Victoria smiled bitterly. Actually this wasn’t the plan at the beginning, but what leon did during their battle with the possessed Bran really shook her.
In a one on one, with that Grimoire in hand, she was unsure of her chances against Leon and this scared her.
